- Measurement of the tilt angle of the support along and across the axis of the overhead line in the range from minus 30 to 30 degrees (error not more than 0.5 °)
- Measurement of the amplitude of oscillations of the support in the range from 0 to 0.5 m (error not more than 0.01 m)
- Measuring the oscillation frequency of the support in the range from 0 to 100 Hz
- Fixing the external mechanical impact on the overhead line support
- Fixing the fall of the overhead line support
- Data exchange over a radio channel (optionally over a GSM cellular network)
The module for remote diagnostics of supports allows you to fix unauthorized intervention in the structure of the support and prevent destruction due to its natural wear. The module simplifies the optimization and digitalization of overhead lines maintenance. Provides reduced maintenance costs and rapid response to emergency situations. Informs about things like:
- — shock and vibration when sawing the corners of the anchor supports
- — physical and mechanical impacts on the support
- — prevention of destruction of the support due to wear
The module is completely autonomous, does not require recharging, replacement of power supplies and maintenance in general. The service life of the module for remote diagnostics of supports is more than 10 years.
The device provides an increase in the reliability of power supply by monitoring the supports, increasing the reliability of measurement data of accelerations along three axes and determining the geometric parameters of vibration and "dance", monitoring the strength and direction of mechanical shocks on the supports, measuring the dynamics of changes in the amplitude and frequency of the vibration of the support in time and under the action external mechanical influences, fixing the allowable inclination of the support and its fall.
Structurally, the module for remote monitoring of overhead line supports consists of two blocks, each of which is enclosed in a separate protective case.
The first block is the power supply. The power supply unit is designed to remove energy and provide power to the measuring unit.
The second block is measuring. The measuring unit performs the main functions of the module for remote monitoring of overhead lines. Information from the modules located on the overhead line is transmitted to the server for collecting information from remote diagnostics for subsequent processing and distribution of the received information to the control centers of electric grid companies and emergency services for prompt response to the possible manifestation of abnormal and emergency situations.
The design of the module for remote monitoring of overhead line supports implies the following requirements for the installation height of the module blocks on supports of various overhead lines:
- — the power supply unit must be installed at the height of the support, providing a safe distance from the carrier wires of the 6-220 kV overhead line
- — the measuring unit must be installed at the maximum possible height of the support for its installation
